This beautiful plant was discovered as a natural mutation among a group of prayer plants in Schipluiden, The Netherlands, in April 1989 by plant expert Magdalena J. M. van Rijn. Through careful laboratory growing techniques, the creator was able to produce more plants while maintaining the unique characteristics that made this variety special across multiple generations.
