This peculiar succulent looks like a living rock with its thick, warty trunk that spreads out like melted butter across the soil surface. Its stubby, golden-yellow body blends perfectly with its native Madagascar granite outcrops, and when mature, it surprises everyone by sending up delicate yellow flowers from its chunky base.
