Unlike other pitcher plants that dangle their traps in the air, this unique species produces clusters of chubby, pot-bellied pitchers right at ground level, creating a colorful carpet of traps. These stocky pitchers come in an amazing variety of colors from deep green to speckled red, and even pure white in some rare forms.
